Planting Day

Sara and I planted in her garden this morning.  She is really taking ownership of her space.  I am proud that she is getting the gardening bug.  We planted cucumbers, swiss chard, tomatoes, tomatillos, carrots, radishes, beets, apple gourds, louffa gourds, and okra.  We tasted some of the radishes from our side of the garden.  Yum Yum!  The best thing about them is they are ready in 28 days!  Now to just get our space up to date… so much to plant!

Starting Fresh

I am going to try my hand at a digital diary of our version of amateur farming.  Of course, my musings will cover everything from our homeschool lifestyle to our animals and the interesting tidbits that may come my way.  I am choosing to start this more because of my interest in record keeping but also to share with others the joy of the agragarian lifestyle.  I will try my hardest to be consistent and to follow through with this blog.  If I succeed at its exisitence, then by all means enjoy!
